What to Wear/Bring
Bring options. You’ll talk clothes with Valerie prior to your shoot. A general guideline is no patterns/nothing distracting & nothing too similar to your own skin tone. Bring something casual and something more dressy. Don’t worry about shoes, I don’t shoot feet!
CD/DVD of Session
Yes! But bring me one. Along with self-addressed stamped padded envelope. Otherwise, $10! ($12 via Paypal)
Shots/Frames per Look
Varies. But approximately 50-150 shots. I’m trigger-happy.
Length of Shoot
Roughly 15-20mins per look. (Not including make-up/you dilly-dallying in the bathroom.) I’m quick. And you get tired quickly. So I don’t waste time.
Payment
I accept cash or credit cards via PayPal, but include a $5 fee to cover their fee. Make-up artist fee should be paid directly to make-up artist, except when booking a package. Personal checks are no longer accepted. I could also be persuaded by interesting barters. Inquire within.
Gratuity
Tips to the make-up artist are welcome and encouraged! If you would like to tip me, please do so by sending me your friends. Your word-of-mouth is worth more to me than a ten-spot.
Shooting Style & Weather Policy
I prefer to shoot with natural light. This means nice weather. However, I’m equipped, capable, and adventurous so if it rains and you don’t want to reschedule, we can make it work in-studio. I shoot a variety of poses/distances, close-ups, 3/4’s, vertical, horizontal, etc. You will have a variety to choose from, so please allow me freedom in capturing you!
Late/Cancellation Policy
I require 24 hours for rescheduling/cancellations, otherwise it’s a $35/fee to re-book and if you no-show you’re blacklisted! If you’re late, it cuts into your own time first. If there’s not enough time left to shoot, $25/fee to extend shoot time or $35/fee to rebook.
